It’s college commitment season and Vermont Governor Phil Scott is partnering with Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC), Association of Vermont Independent Colleges (AVIC), and the Vermont Higher Education Council (VHEC) to award two incoming students $5,000 scholarships.
As students make their final decisions on where to go to college, many have a Vermont school on their list. Vermont institutions offer a variety of degrees, programs, and study options and the state’s natural resources, growing entrepreneurial culture, and quality of life make it an enticing place to head to for college.
Governor Phil Scott and the Agency of Commerce and Community Development along with partners VSAC, AVIC, and VHEC are excited to announce that any student who commits to a Vermont college or university by June 1, 2019 could win one of two $5,000 scholarships.
