Outside Magazine: Vermont was a great adventure camp even before offering $10K to move here

Freelance writer Katie Arnold visited Vermont with her child and writes about why our state is uniquely equipped to provide children and parents opportunities for understanding, responsibility, and adventure. As a Vermont college alum, she already knew how high the state ranked in multiple quality of life indexes, because she experienced the best of Vermont as both a young adult and now as a parent.

In early June, Vermont Governor Phil Scott  approved the creation of the Remote Worker Program, which will reimburse people up to $10,000 who move to Vermont starting in 2019. The program is currently under development. Click here to learn more and to sign up for future information.
